Blueberry Apple Pie Moonshine is just like apple pie with the addition of blueberries. In memory of our Uncle Calvin Reiter who lost his life only days before the end of WWII. And to all who didn’t make it back, but so proudly served!
York County native John Calvin Reiter paid the ultimate price in the fight for freedom during WWII on April 26, 1945 in Sarching, Germany. This 24 year old hero was a 1940 graduate of York High, member of Rescue Fire Company, and Fireman’s Relief Assoc., before joining the Army in 1943. John was a Private First Class, 14th Infantry Regiment, 71st Infantry Division, and awarded the Purple Heart. His family called him Calvin. We dedicate our Blueberry Apple Pie Moonshine to Uncle Calvin and all those who have served in the United States Military. To this inspiring hero, and the fight for freedom, we raise our glass….. Cheers!
